Robbery suspect arrested in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Police have identified  a suspect wanted in connection to robberies at two convenience stores.

Brandon Burnett, 29, of Norfolk was arrested Wednesday and charged with three counts of robbery and three counts of wearing a mask in a public place.

According to Norfolk Police, two 7-Eleven stores were robbed between December 31 and March 4. Police said there was also an attempted robbery at one of the stores on March 10.

Investigators said the suspect targeted two 7-Eleven stores, one located at 3025 East Virginia Beach Blvd. and 1510 East Brambleton Ave.

The suspect was described as about 5’6” tall, in his late twenties to early forties, with a thin build and light complexion. Police said the suspect was wearing a red and black scarf at the time of the robbery.
