PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – A winning Powerball ticket was sold at a Portsmouth store for Wednesday’s drawing, and the winner hasn’t come forward yet.

The ticket won $1 million, and was purchased at Barber’s Tire & Auto located at 5801 Portsmouth Blvd. The shop operates out of a Shell gas station.

Wednesday night’s winning Powerball numbers were 14-15-28-37-54, and the Powerball number was 10. The winning ticket matched the first five numbers and missed only the Powerball number, according to the Virginia Lottery.

The winner has 180 days from the date of the drawing, March 12, to claim the prize. The Virginia Lottery advises that the winner sign the back of the ticket, and call the Virginia Lottery at 804-692-7777 or 757-825-7800.

Last week, a ticket purchased in Springfield matched the first five numbers to win $1 million. The Virginia Lottery said the winner of that prize has not come forward yet.
