Police seek identity of Va. Beach Walmart shoplifter

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Police need your help identifying the man who stole from the Walmart on Phoenix Drive.

In a news release, police spokesman J.C. Cason said the incident happened on Saturday, March 1 between 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. The suspect was captured on surveillance cameras entering the Walmart, and a store loss-prevention agent saw him concealing several items while exiting the store without paying.

The suspect was last seen fleeing the area in a maroon Hyundai SUV with a possible VA tag WUS9387.
