Police seek grocery store shoplifting suspects

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Suffolk Police are asking for help identifying two people in connection to a shoplifting investigation.

Diana Klink with the City of Suffolk said the incident happened on March 5 at the Food Lion located at 2815 Godwin Boulevard. Investigators said a woman took a large number of paper towels and laundry detergent from the store.

She is described as being about 6 feet tall, weighing 150 pounds, wearing blue jeans, a gray coat and brown boots.

Klink said the woman was accompanied by a man who was about 5’8” tall, weighing 160 pounds, wearing blue jeans, a blue and white jacket and blue hat. Both suspects were seen leaving the Food Lion parking lot in a black SUV with Virginia license plates.
