CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – Investigators were called to a home in Chesapeake Sunday after hazardous materials were found in a barn.
Leo Kosinski with the Chesapeake Police Department told WAVY.com the Special Investigations Section (Narcotics unit) was called to a home on Indian Creek Road to conduct an investigation. Police said officers found hazardous materials and called the fire department to handle the cleanup.
According to Kelly O’Sullivan with the Chesapeake Police Department, the owner of the barn reportedly found materials to manufacture methamphetamine.
Kosinski said no one was hurt, and there was no danger to the public.
