NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — Police said a man remains in the hospital with life-threatening injuries Saturday morning after being struck in a hit and run crash in Newport News Friday night.
Holly McPherson with Newport News Police said investigators were reconstructing the scene at the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and 74th Street until after 12:30 a.m. Saturday. The pedestrian was hit around 8:30 p.m. Friday.
The suspect vehicle, a white truck, left the scene.
