GREENSVILLE COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) – A 63-year-old woman died after a crash in Greensville County Monday.

Sgt. Michelle Anaya with the Virginia State Police said the crash occurred on Route 622, also known as Little Low Ground Road. The driver, Patricia Anne Soler of Emporia, lost control of her 2009 Mini Cooper and crashed into a tree around 6:40 a.m.

Soler was transported to Southern Virginia Regional Medical Center but died. Anaya said Soler was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash.

It is unknown at this time if alcohol played a factor. Anaya said weather conditions did not contribute to the crash.
