Langley Federal Credit Union robbed in Hampton

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) – Hampton Police officers are investigating a robbery at a Langley Federal Credit Union that occurred Thursday morning.

The officers were called to the credit union in the 1000 block of West Mercury Blvd. at 11:18 a.m.

According to Corporal Mary Shackelford, the suspect passed a note to a teller demanding money and implied he had a weapon. Once he got the cash, he left the bank.

There were customers inside the bank at the time of the robbery, but police have confirmed no one was injured.
