On January 27 around 6:40 p.m., the suspect entered the Walgreens at 13007 Warwick Boulevard and bought four Vanilla Visa Gift cards with a stolen credit card number, according to Lou Thurston with the Newport News Police Department.

However, the victim still has her credit card in her possession. So, detectives believe the suspect used a counterfeit card with the victim’s credit card number encoded on it, Thurston said.

If you recognize the man pictured in the surveillance video, please call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
