VBPD seeks Wal-Mart shoplifter

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – Virginia Beach Police are looking for whoever has been stealing from a Wal-Mart and believe the suspect in two cases is the same person.

MPO James Cason with the Virginia Beach Police Department said officers are investigating two separate incidents at the Wal-Mart located at 657 Phoenix Dr. The first occurred Jan. 13 around 4:45 p.m. when the suspect left the store with a cart full of merchandise he did not pay for.

The second incident occurred Feb. 15 around 1:45 p.m. Again, the suspect left with a cart full of merchandise he did not pay for.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
