Cape Henry’s Clarke named TCIS player of the year

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — The Cape Henry boys basketball team is hoping to make another run at a state championship, and one of the reasons is the play of forward Chris Clarke who was named the TCIS player of the year.

Clarke, who’s just a junior, averages nearly 20 points a game, along with 10 rebounds and 7 assists.

College coaches are drooling over Clarke.

Coach Mark Hall told the Sportswrap Clarke has scholarship offers from ODU, Kansas State, Iowa State, Virginia Tech and Creighton to name a few, and he expects many more big name schools to make a run at Clarke.
