NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Two people suffered non-life threatening gunshot wounds late Wednesday night.
Karen Parker-Chesson with the Norfolk Police Department told WAVY.com officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Sewells Point Road just before midnight for a call of gunshots. Minutes later, the call was upgraded to a gunshot victim.
They found a gunshot victim in the 7100 block of Gregory Avenue. He was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Not long after, a second gunshot victim arrived at DePaul Hospital.
Parker-Chesson said the crime scene was found in the 700 block of Sewells Point Road and the investigation is ongoing.
