NORFOLK, Va. — After a lackluster showing last weekend against the Hartford WolfPack, the Admirals are back home at Scope for a weekend set against the Syracuse Crunch.

Norfolk came away with a weekend split against Hartford, but the offense just never seemed to be able to get on track.

The top 8 teams from the Conference make the playoffs, and the Admirals are tied with Hershey for 8th place.

Coach Trent Yawney says for his team to make a push for the playoffs, they’ve got to play better than they did last weekend.

“The effort wasn’t there and it’s been there all year,” Yawney told the Sportswrap. “But we’ve got to move forward, those last 28-30 games are going to go by fast and we’re in a tight race this year.  The points are up for grabs and you have to get them while you can because every team is looking for the same thing.”
