Police seek suspect in Chesapeake hotel theft

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – Chesapeake Police are trying to identify a man who they say stole money from a hotel’s cash register.

According to Kelly O’Sullivan with the Chesapeake Police Department, an unknown black male went behind the reception counter of a hotel located in the 2400 block of Gum Road. Police said he stole a large amount of cash from the register.
