WAYNESBORO, Va. (AP) — State and local authorities are searching for missing man who is a captain with the Waynesboro Police Department’s Police Reserve Unit.

Virginia State Police spokeswoman Corinne Geller says 45-year-old Kevin Wayne Quick of Nelson County left his mother’s residence in Afton on Friday. He was going to a friend’s home about 20 miles away in Albemarle County but he didn’t arrive.

Family members reported Quick missing on Saturday.

Geller says photographs obtained by state police show Quick’s silver 1999 Toyota Forerunner in Fork Union on Friday and in the Manassas area on Saturday.

The photos also show two unidentified men. Geller says investigators believe these men might have information regarding Quick’s disappearance.
