VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A fire at a vacant house in Virginia Beach Thursday night has been deemed suspicious by Fire Chief Pravetz.
Firefighters were called to a home in the 2300 block of Rock Lake Loop around 11:40 p.m. Battalion Chief Amy Valdez with the Virginia Beach Fire Department told WAVY.com the house was unoccupied and was up for sale.
Valdez said the fire is suspicious in nature, and charges are pending against two juvenile suspects in the arson investigation.
The home sustained moderate fire damage as well as smoke damage and heavy water damage.
