Deanna LeBlanc

Deanna LeBlanc joined the WAVY-TV 10 and FOX 43 reporting team in September 2013. Since that time, Deanna has held many different roles within the newsroom. From working the overnight shift as the reporter for WAVY News 10 Today during major breaking news events like the shooting aboard the USS Mahan, to anchoring WAVY News 10 weekend evenings, to standing out in hurricanes and snowstorms during the week, Deanna has learned a lot from the people of Hampton Roads. You can now catch Deanna anchoring a brand new newscast: WAVY News 10 at 7 p.m. on FOX43 Monday-Friday.

Prior to moving to Hampton Roads to be with her husband, an officer in the Navy, Deanna worked at WCAX-TV (CBS) in Burlington, Vt. where she was both a reporter on the investigative news team and a fill-in anchor. She covered everything from big breaking news stories to the county fair!

Deanna is a proud Terp and a graduate of the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland. She grew up in Lynnfield, Massachusetts. (Go Sox!) Fun fact about Deanna: she once appeared on national television when she competed in Wheel of Fortune, College Week in 2009.

Deanna lives in Virginia Beach with her husband and their mischievous golden retriever, Murphy.
