Deanna LeBlanc

Deanna LeBlanc joined the WAVY-TV 10 and FOX 43 reporting team in September 2013. You can catch Deanna anchoring WAVY News 10 weekend evenings at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. and at 10 p.m. on FOX43. During the week, Deanna reports for WAVY News 10. Deanna is excited to be living on the coast, and to be in a warmer climate!

Prior to moving to Hampton Roads to be with her husband, a Naval Officer, Deanna worked at WCAX-TV (CBS) in Burlington, Vt. where she was both a reporter on the investigative news team and a fill-in anchor. She covered everything from breaking news to the county fair! Two of Deanna’s most memorable stories are an investigation into a massage parlor that was a front for human trafficking and prostitution and her coverage of a utility company’s unfair billing practices that led state regulators to demand change.

Deanna is a graduate of the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland and is a native of Lynnfield, Ma. Deanna got her first appearance on national television when she participated in Wheel of Fortune’s College Week in 2009. She is excited to now call Hampton Roads home. Having spent summers at the beach as a child, Deanna is excited to be on the coast once again.

When she’s not reporting the news, you can usually find Deanna in the kitchen testing out new recipes or in the backyard with her golden retriever, Murphy.
