NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) buses were back on the streets Saturday after three days of no service.
According to HRT, the piled up snow and ice were an obstacle for operators and for customers trying to board, so bus service was canceled for three days.
Light rail and ferry service picked up on Thursday, and ran as normal Friday.
Para-transit services for disabled riders also resumed Saturday.
