Weather suspends NC ferry routes

MANNS HARBOR, N.C. (WAVY) – The North Carolina Ferry System suspended service on its regular routes Wednesday due to winter weather conditions.

According to a news release from the North Carolina Department of Transportation, ferry decks, ramps, and terminal parking lots are covered by snow and ice.

NCDOT said crews are monitoring the situations at the terminals and will resume operations as soon as it is safe. Click here for updates on North Carolina’s Ferry System.
