VIRGINIA/NORTH CAROLINA (WAVY) – Dominion Power crews have been working to restore power to those who lost electricity before, during and after the winter storm.
Bonita Harris with Dominion Virginia Power told WAVY.com more than 5,000 customers were affected since 6 p.m. Tuesday, with the biggest trouble in northern North Carolina. About 2,500 customers lost power in the Elizabeth City area.
Other outages occurred in Norfolk, Hampton and Virginia Beach.
Thursday morning, Harris said there were small outages reported in the Hampton Roads area. Dominion crews were on hand to restore power as quickly as possible.
