SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Suffolk Police need help identifying two men officers say are suspects in a grand larceny at a home improvement store.

Diana Klink with the City of Suffolk said the incident occurred Jan. 18 at the Lowe’s located in the 1200 block of North Main Street. Two white male suspects entered the store through the lumber area and met an older white male in the tools department.

The two men picked up two Dewalt tool combo kits and exited the store without paying for them, Klink said. A witness reported a four-door red hatchback vehicle believed to be the suspect vehicle.

One suspect was wearing a camouflage Virginia Tech hat, jeans and a white sweatshirt with a design on the front. The other suspect was wearing a red Elmo hat, black long sleeved shirt and camouflage overalls.

The older male the pair met in the store is considered a person of interest in this case. He was wearing several layers of clothing including a brown jacket, gray jacket and a plaid shirt. He was also wearing a camouflage hat with a business logo on the front and green pants.
