VBPD looks for 7-Eleven robber

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – Virginia Beach Police need help identifying a suspect they believe was involved in two separate robberies.

MPO James Cason with the Virginia Beach Police Department said the robberies occurred between 5:55 a.m. and 6:40 a.m. Jan. 18, with the first occurred at a 7-Eleven in the 500 block of 22nd Street and the second at a 7-Eleven at Bonney Road and Boggs Avenue.

In both cases, the suspect implied he had a weapon and was described as a white male possibly in his 20s with a medium build and average height. Surveillance photos show the suspect wearing a knit hat with a skull on it.

Additionally, a vehicle with a loud exhaust was heard near both scenes. It’s described as a blue late model Ford Mustang with a partial tage of WRS or WR5. Police think this may be the suspect’s vehicle.

The vehicle may have a black louver on the rear window and dark rims, possibly black or gray. It was last seen headed east on Bonney Road.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
