Today: Lots of sun. Chilly. High temps will be in the low-mid 50s. Winds NW/SW 8-12mph.

Today we have a big area of high pressure overhead. We have a dry, chilly airmass in place. We are going to have quiet weather today, but high temps will only be in the low/mid 50s. The wind will be light. Especially compared to this last weekend where the winds were pretty strong the entire time. There are some very warm temps off to our west. By tomorrow the area of high pressure will move offshore. This will produce southerly winds which will warm things up. It will be pretty nice out. We’ll get into the mid 60s for highs. Then another cold front will move into the area tomorrow night into Wednesday morning. We’ll see some scattered showers Wednesday morning. This could impact the morning commute as well as travel. We’ll dry out Wednesday afternoon and we’ll be cool again. However, some colder air looks to move in for Thanksgiving itself. High temps will be near 50 degrees. It will be dry during the day. By Thursday night we could have a few showers. This could go into Friday morning for Black Friday sales. We’ll have updates before those days. We’ll have a full update on WAVY News 10 Midday and at 4pm.
