Police investigate school bus vandalism


SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Suffolk police are trying to track down the vandal or vandals who targeted city school buses between Friday January 17 and Tuesday January 21.

Diana Klink with Suffolk Police told WAVY.com officers responded to a vandalism call in the 7500 block of Harvest Drive and found someone had damaged the windshield of a Suffolk Public School bus that was parked at the residence. She said it appeared to have been shot by a BB gun.

Police investigated a similar vandalism call in the 6800 block of Holy Neck Road and in the 7900 block of Harvest Drive. All three incidents are believed to be related, based on their proximity to one another in the southern end of the city.

There were no witnesses. Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
