Players with the Norfolk Admirals skated with children and adults from the Cerebral Palsy Association at MacArthur on Ice Thursday.
Hockey players pushed and spun their guests around on the ice at the rink outside the mall.
“It means a lot, especially when those kids can’t necessarily strap the skates on like I have the privilege of doing every day. So I mean, we practice every day but this is a little more, something definitely more special to me,” said John Kurtz of the Admirals.
Kurtz said spending the day with the group really helps put things in perspective for the hockey team.
