VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – Citizens in Virginia Beach may have noticed issues when calling 911 Tuesday.

According to the City, 911 lines are functioning on a backup. Callers are urged to stay on the line to speak with a 911 caller, as the system does not provide callers’ location or telephone information.
