JCC Police seek shoplifters

JAMES CITY COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) – Two suspects stole thousands of dollars worth of clothing from two James City County stores Jan. 13.

Maj. Steve Rubino with the James City County Police Department said the first theft occurred at True Religion in the 5700 block of Richmond Road when the suspects grabbed stacks of jeans and ran out of the store. The second theft occurred about 20 minutes later at the Belk in the 4900 block of Monticello Avenue. There, the suspects stole a large quantity of Polo clothing.

The suspects reportedly were spotted fleeing in a light-colored Lexus sedan with Virginia tags.

One suspect is described as a light-skinned black male with a stocky build. He was wearing a black and green stocking hat, black hooded jacket and black jeans.

The second suspect is described as a dark-skinned black male with a smaller build. He was wearing a dark hooded jacket and dark jeans.
